Instructions for use (for reference only)
This product is recommended to be reconstituted with pure water to a final concentration of 1mg/ml. After reconstitution, it can be directly used for protein enzymatic digestion, and the recommended enzymatic digestion ratio is 1:50-1:100;
Enzymatic digestion at 37℃ overnight.储存条件
This product should be stored at 2-8°C and can be stored for at least 12 months.
After reconstitution, it should be stored at -20℃ and can be stored for 6 months
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Recombinant lysyl endonuclease (Lys-C) is derived from Achromobacter and expressed in Escherichia coli. This product is a serine protease that can highly specifically hydrolyze amides, esters and peptide bonds on the carboxyl side of lysine. The optimal reaction pH is 9.0-9.5, the optimal reaction temperature is 30-37°C, and it can still maintain high enzyme activity in the presence of 4M urea or 0.1% SDS.
- In 25mmol/L Tris-HCl buffer at pH9.0 and at 37°C, the amount of enzyme required to catalyze the production of 1μmol AC-Lys-pNA in 1min is one activity unit (AU).
