  • Recombinant human basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family and is an basic protein.Existing evidence indicates that bFGF can support the stem cell characteristics of undifferentiated human embryonic stem cells,it can also stimulate the proliferation of mesodem-derived cellsectoderm-and endoderm-derived cells,and neuroectoderm-derived cells.

    In vitro,bFGF has chemotactic and mitogenic effects on endothelial cells,and can promote the differentiation, survival and regeneration of nerves.It has been proven to be crucial in regulating embryonic development and differentia- tion,and it may play a role in the in vivo modulation of angiogenesis,tissue repair,embryonic development and neuronal function.
