ICAM-1 is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed at a low basal level in immune, endothelial (EC) and epithelial cells, but is up-regulated in response to inflammatory stimulation. The function of ICAM-1 has been best studied in leukocyte transendothelial migration (TEM), where ICAM-1 regulates leukocyte rolling and adhesive interactions with the vessel wall, and guides leukocyte crossing of the endothelial layer. More recently, functional studies identified several new roles of ICAM-1 in epithelial injury-resolution responses, innate and adaptive immune responses in inflammation, and tumorigenesis.
Following recommended dosage for experiments strictly. If the population clustering is not distinct, the recommended dosage could be appropriately increased by 2–5 folds.

2e5 of transient transfected anti- CD54 ScFv CAR-293 cells were stained with 0.01ug Alexa Fluor 647-Labeled ICAM-1/CD54 Fc Chimera Protein, Human, (Cat. No. UA016016) and unlable respectively (Fig. C and B), and non-transfected 293 cells were used as a control (Fig. A). Alexa Fluor 647 signal was used to evaluate the binding activity.
2e5 of transient transfected anti- CD54 ScFv CAR-293 cells were stained with isotype and Whitlow/218 Linker-Alexa Fluor® 488 (Fig. D and E). Alexa Fluor® 488 signal was used to evaluate the binding activity.
