TMB Stop Solution (Blue) is a proprietary, ready-to-use bottled solution used to terminate the peroxidase/TMB reaction in ELISA applications. The TMB substrate reacts with the secondary antibody conjugated to immobilized horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to produce a blue solution. The color intensity reflects the level of the analyte. Once the desired intensity is reached, the reaction is stopped by adding the STOP solution. The absorbance can be measured immediately at 620 nm, and the reaction remains stable for 7 hours.
