背景介绍

  • CD2, also known as the T-cell rosette receptor or LFA-2, is a type I membrane protein predominantly expressed on thymocytes and mature T cells. It functions as an adhesion molecule that binds to CD58 (LFA-3) on antigen-presenting cells (APCs), facilitating T-cell receptor (TCR) binding and signal transduction, which is crucial for T-cell activation and immune responses.

    • Flow cytometric analysis of mouse CD2 expression on C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes. C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes were stained with Brilliant Violet 421™ Rat Anti-Mouse CD19 and either Biotin Mouse IgG2b,k Isotype Control (left panel) or SDT Biotin Rat Anti-Mouse CD2 Antibody (right panel) at 0.5 μl/test followed by Sav-iFluor 488. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using Agilent NovoCyte Quanteon and FlowJo™ software.
