c-Kit (CD117) is a receptor tyrosine kinase encoded by the c-kit gene. It plays a crucial role in the development and function of various cell types including hematopoietic cells, melanocytes, and gastrointestinal interstitial cells. The ligand for c-Kit is stem cell factor (SCF), and the binding of SCF to c-Kit activates intracellular signaling pathways that promote cell proliferation, survival, differentiation, and migration. Mutations or overexpression of c-Kit are associated with several diseases such as gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) and certain types of leukemia, making it an important target for therapeutic interventions.
流式分析
Flow cytometric analysis of Mouse CD117 expression on BALB/c mouse bone marrow. BALB/c mouse bone marrow was stained with Alexa Fluor® 647 Rat Anti-Mouse CD34 Antibody (S0B5359) and either FITC Rat IgG2b, κ Isotype Control (Left panel) or SDT FITC Rat Anti-Mouse CD117 Antibody (Right panel) at 5μl/test. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.
