CD15, also known as Lewis X or SSEA-1, is a carbohydrate epitope (Galβ1→4[Fucα1→3]GlcNAc) carried primarily on glycoproteins and glycolipids of myeloid cells, granulocytes, and certain lymphocyte subsets; it serves as a key adhesion molecule that mediates selectin-dependent leukocyte rolling during inflammation, acts as a marker of mature neutrophils and Hodgkin/Reed-Sternberg cells, and its differential expression is exploited in immunohistochemistry to distinguish myeloid leukemias from lymphoid malignancies and to identify stem-cell populations in normal and neoplastic tissues.
流式分析
Flow cytometric analysis of Human CD15 expression on human peripheral blood leukocytes. Human peripheral blood leukocytes were stained with Pacific Blue IgM Isotype Control (Left panel) or SDT Pacific Blue Mouse Anti-Human CD15 Antibody (Right panel) at 5 μl/test. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.
