MHC II (RT1D) is a rat major histocompatibility complex class II heterodimeric glycoprotein composed of an α and a β chain that together form an open-ended peptide-binding groove specialized for capturing 12–25 amino-acid fragments derived from exogenous antigens processed through the endocytic pathway; expressed primarily on professional antigen-presenting cells such as B cells, macrophages and dendritic cells, it presents these peptides to CD4⁺ T-helper cells to initiate and shape adaptive immune responses, and in the rat it can be induced by interferon-γ on oligodendroglial progenitor cells, with structural and functional properties that overlap partly with the mouse H2-E and human HLA-DR molecules.
流式分析
Flow cytometric analysis of Rat MHC II (RT1D) expression on SD Rat splenocytes. SD Rat splenocytes stained with PE Mouse Anti-Rat CD3 antibody and either Alexa Fluor® 647 Mouse IgG1, κ Isotype Control (Left panel) or SDT Alexa Fluor® 647 Mouse Anti-Rat MHC II (RT1D) Antibody (Right panel) at 1.25 μl/test. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.
