  • Mouse TCR Vβ 11 (T Cell Receptor Beta Variable Region 11) is an important member of the variable region gene family of the T cell receptor (TCR) β chain, belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. In mice, the TCR β chain gene locus contains multiple Vβ (variable region) gene segments, with Vβ 11 being one of them. Through the V(D)J gene rearrangement mechanism, it combines with Dβ (diversity region) and Jβ (joining region) segments to form a complete variable region of the TCR β chain. The protein region encoded by Vβ 11 participates in constructing the antigen recognition site of the TCR, and its complementarity-determining regions (CDR1, CDR2, and CDR3), especially the CDR3 region, exhibit high sequence variability, which directly determines the specific recognition capability of the TCR for antigen peptide-MHC complexes. In mouse immune response research, the Vβ 11 family is commonly used to analyze T cell repertoire diversity, track specific T cell clone expansion, and study the selective activation effects of superantigens (such as Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxins) on T cells of specific Vβ families. The expression profile of Vβ 11 can vary among different mouse strains (such as C57BL/6, BALB/c, etc.), and its usage frequency can dynamically change with factors such as immune status, age, infection, or tumor microenvironment. It serves as an important detection target in immune repertoire sequencing (TCR-Seq) and flow cytometry analysis, holding significant value for understanding adaptive immune response mechanisms, the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases, and tumor immunotherapy research.

    • Flow cytometric analysis of mouse TCR Vβ 11 expression on C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes. C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes were stained with either FITC Mouse IgG2b,k Isotype Control (left panel) or SDT FITC Rat Anti-Mouse TCR Vβ 11 Antibody (right panel) at 2 μl/test. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using Agilent NovoCyte Quanteon and FlowJo™ software.
