ERAP1 (Endoplasmic Reticulum Aminopeptidase 1) is a zinc-dependent metalloaminopeptidase localized in the endoplasmic reticulum that plays a critical role in antigen processing by trimming N-terminal residues of peptides to optimize their length (8–10 amino acids) for loading onto MHC class I molecules, thereby shaping the immunopeptidome and influencing immune responses; it also modulates inflammation by cleaving cytokine receptors and is genetically associated with autoimmune diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis and Behçet’s disease, particularly in individuals carrying specific HLA alleles like HLA-B27 or HLA-B*51.

ICC shows positive staining in A431 cells. Anti- ERAP1 antibody was used at 1/500 dilution (Green) and incubated overnight at 4°C. Goat polyclonal Antibody to Rabbit IgG - H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) was used as secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution. The cells were fixed with 100% ice-cold methanol and permeabilized with 0.1% PBS-Triton X-100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Counterstain with tubulin (Red).
