ECM1 protein, or extracellular matrix protein 1, is a glycoprotein predominantly expressed in the extracellular matrix of various tissues. It plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation. ECM1 is highly expressed in tissues such as skin, placenta, and blood vessels. Its expression is regulated by several growth factors and hormones. Abnormal expression of ECM1 has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer progression, where it may contribute to tumor growth and metastasis by modulating the tumor microenvironment. Additionally, ECM1 is involved in the development and maintenance of normal tissue architecture and has potential as a biomarker for certain diseases due to its specific expression patterns.

免疫细胞化学
ICC shows positive staining in NIH/3T3 cells. Anti- ECM1 antibody was used at 1/500 dilution (Green) and incubated overnight at 4°C. Goat polyclonal Antibody to Rabbit IgG - H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) was used as secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution. The cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with 0.1% PBS-Triton X-100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Counterstain with tubulin (Red).
