  • Phospho-CaMKII (Thr286) refers to the phosphorylated form of the Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) at threonine residue 286. CaMKII is a multifunctional serine/threonine protein kinase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, particularly in the heart and brain. When phosphorylated at Thr286, CaMKII undergoes autophosphorylation, which enhances its activity and allows it to function in a Ca2+-independent manner. This phosphorylated state is essential for the regulation of cardiac myocyte contraction, synaptic plasticity, and memory formation. Abnormal phosphorylation of CaMKII at Thr286 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including heart failure and arrhythmias, making it a potential therapeutic target for cardiovascular diseases.

我们推荐客户使用TPST+5%脱脂奶粉来稀释一抗,进行封闭。 虽然BSA被推荐为WB检测磷酸化蛋白的常用封闭剂,但是脱脂奶粉获取更加方便,覆盖更广泛的非特异性结合位点,在一抗性能优越的前提下,使用脱脂奶粉封闭性价比更高
