CD8β is a protein that, along with CD8α, forms the CD8 co - receptor complex on the surface of cytotoxic T cells. This complex plays a crucial role in the immune response by facilitating the interaction between cytotoxic T cells and antigen - presenting cells. CD8β helps stabilize the binding of the T cell receptor to MHC class I molecules on the antigen - presenting cell, thereby enhancing the specificity and efficiency of the T cell - mediated immune response. This interaction is essential for the activation of cytotoxic T cells, which can then target and destroy infected or malignant cells.
流式分析
Flow cytometric analysis of BALB/c mouse splenocytes labelling CD8β (Lyt 3.2) antibody at 1/200 (1 μg) dilution/ (Right panel) compared with a Rat IgG1, κ Isotype Control / (left panel). Goat Anti-Rat IgG Alexa Fluor® 488 was used as the secondary antibody. Then cells were stained with CD8a - APC antibody separately.
