XCR1 is a conserved, 7-transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor selectively expressed on CD8α⁺ and CD103⁺ classical dendritic cells; its exclusive ligand XCL1 is secreted by activated CD8⁺ T and NK cells, forming a chemotactic feedback loop that recruits antigen-loaded DCs into lymphoid tissue and optimizes cross-presentation, Th1 cytotoxicity and antiviral/antitumor immunity, making the XCR1–XCL1 axis an emerging target for cancer immunotherapy and vaccine adjuvant design.

Goat Anti-Rat IgG Alexa Fluor® 488 was used as the secondary antibody. Then cells were stained with CD141 - APC antibody separately.
