CD68 is a 110-kD transmembrane glycoprotein highly expressed by human monocytes, macrophages, and cells of the monocyte-macrophage lineage, such as osteoclasts and microglia. It is a member of the lysosomal/endosomal-associated membrane glycoprotein (LAMP) family and the scavenger receptor family. CD68 primarily localizes to lysosomes and endosomes, with a smaller fraction circulating to the cell surface. It plays a role in promoting phagocytosis and clearing cellular debris. The protein is also involved in mediating the recruitment and activation of macrophages.
流式分析
Human PBMC (human peripheral blood mononuclear cells) were surface stained with APC Mouse Anti-Human CD11b followed by fixation with 4% PFA and permeabilization with the 0.1% Tween. Cells were then intracellularly stained with Mouse Anti-Human CD68 Antibody at 1/200 (1 μg) dilution / (Right panel) compared with a Mouse IgG2b, κ Isotype Control / (Left panel). Goat Anti-Mouse IgG Alexa Fluor® 488 was used as the secondary antibody. Total cells were used for analysis.
