背景介绍
CD68 is a 110-kD transmembrane glycoprotein highly expressed by human monocytes, macrophages, and cells of the monocyte-macrophage lineage, such as osteoclasts and microglia. It is a member of the lysosomal/endosomal-associated membrane glycoprotein (LAMP) family and the scavenger receptor family. CD68 primarily localizes to lysosomes and endosomes, with a smaller fraction circulating to the cell surface. It plays a role in promoting phagocytosis and clearing cellular debris. The protein is also involved in mediating the recruitment and activation of macrophages.
流式分析
Human PBMC (human peripheral blood mononuclear cells) were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilization with the 0.1% Tween. Cells were then intracellularly stained with Alexa Fluor® 647 Mouse Anti-Human CD68 Antibody at 1.25μl/test / (Right panel) compared with a Mouse IgG2b, κ Isotype Control / (Left panel). Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.
