背景介绍

  • Napsin A is a pepsin-like aspartic proteinase predominantly expressed in type II pneumocytes and renal tubular cells; it is widely used as an immunohistochemical marker because its strong cytoplasmic staining is present in ~85 % of lung adenocarcinomas while being virtually absent in squamous cell carcinomas, making it valuable for distinguishing primary pulmonary adenocarcinoma from other tumor types.
