Histone H3 (di+tri methyl K79) refers to the dimethylation and trimethylation modifications that occur on lysine 79 (K79) of histone H3. The methylation at K79 may affect the compaction and accessibility of chromatin, thereby influencing the interaction between DNA and transcription factors. This modification can either activate or repress gene transcription, depending on the cell type, cell cycle stage, and interactions with other proteins.

Goat polyclonal Antibody to Rabbit IgG - H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) was used as secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution. The cells were fixed with 100% ice-cold methanol and permeabilized with 0.1% PBS-Triton X-100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Counterstain with tubulin (Red).
