CTIP2 (also known as BCL11B) is a transcription factor Highly expressed in brain and in malignant T-cell lines derived from patients with adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma. CTIP2 deficiency results in structural striatal defects, impaired spatial learning, and working memory deficits in mice. May function on the P53-signaling pathway. May be a key regulator of both differentiation and survival during thymocyte development. Diseases associated with CTIP2 include Immunodeficiency and Intellectual Developmental Disorder with Speech Delay, Dysmorphic Facies, And T-Cell Abnormalities. Among its related pathways are NF-kappaB Signaling and Development and heterogeneity of the ILC family.

Primary antibody: Ctip2 Rabbit mAb at 1/1000 dilution
Lane 1: MOLT-4 whole cell lysate 20 µg
Secondary antibody: Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), HRP conjugated at 1/10000 dilution
Predicted MW: 96 kDa
Observed MW: 115, 125 kDa
Exposure time: 180 s
ChIP
Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) was performed on MOLT-4 cells cross - linked with 1% formaldehyde for 10 min, then chromatin was fragmented by sonication. Parallel reactions used Ctip2 Recombinant Rabbit mAb (S-R314) and IgG Isotype Control (SDT-R173) at 1:50 for immunoprecipitation.
Post -immunoprecipitation, both samples were washed, eluted, and cross - links reversed. Purified DNA was analyzed by qPCR.
qPCR showed the enrichment of CDKN1B, MDM2 and SAT-α in
Ctip2 Recombinant Rabbit mAb (S-R314)-immunoprecipitated
sample.
