HSP60, also known as chaperonins (Cpn), is a family of heat shock proteins originally sorted by their 60kDa molecular mass. They prevent misfolding of proteins during stressful situations such as high heat, by assisting protein folding. HSP60 belongs to a large class of molecules that assist protein folding, called molecular chaperones.

ICC shows positive staining in HeLa cells. Anti-HSP60 (PE Conjugate) antibody was used at 1/100 dilution (Red) and incubated overnight at 4°C. The cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with 0.1% PBS-Triton X-100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue).
ICC shows positive staining in NIH/3T3 cells. Anti-HSP60 (PE Conjugate) antibody was used at 1/100 dilution (Red) and incubated overnight at 4°C. The cells were fixed with 100% ice-cold methanol and permeabilized with 0.1% PBS-Triton X-100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue).
