背景介绍
  • Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) is a key epithelial-derived cytokine that orchestrates type 2 immune responses, and detection of mouse TSLP plays an essential role in preclinical immunology, inflammation and disease model research. Secreted mainly by epithelial cells upon tissue injury, allergen exposure or microbial stimulation, mouse TSLP activates dendritic cells, promotes Th2 cell differentiation, and drives production of IgE, eosinophilia and inflammatory mediators. Quantitation of mouse TSLP enables direct evaluation of the initiation and magnitude of type 2 inflammation in vivo.

Mouse TSLP measurement is widely applied in preclinical models of asthma, atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis. It helps researchers characterize disease pathogenesis, compare inflammatory severity across animal groups, and assess pharmacodynamic effects of candidate drugs targeting TSLP or its downstream immune cascade. Besides allergic disorders, TSLP is also involved in tumor immunity, tissue fibrosis and autoimmune inflammation, so its detection supports broader mechanistic exploration.

As a core biomarker in mouse disease models, TSLP assay provides reliable quantitative data for immune pathway validation and drug efficacy screening. It helps distinguish type 2-dominant inflammation from other inflammatory subtypes, accelerates preclinical translational research, and lays a foundation for developing human TSLP-targeted therapies.
